Celebrating 30 years as a lawyer

On September 20, 2024, I celebrated a significant milestone - nearly 30 years since I was admitted to the bar in New Zealand in 1995. Recent interviews with the Australian Women’s Weekly and The Japan Times have prompted me to reflect deeply on my journey.

While I’ve shared my story dozens of times on webinars and podcasts, there’s something uniquely enlightening about a 1:1 personal interview that brings fresh insights to the surface. It strikes me how unpredictable and exhilarating a legal career can be, and how much we cannot control - yet therein lies the true joy of the journey.

hereMy career has been unpredictable and exhilarating, full of twists and turns. I barely recognize that shy, fresh-faced girl who was admitted to the bar all those years ago, but she’s still a big part of me.

Special thanks to my dear friend Ly for sending a gorgeous bouquet of flowers to mark the occasion.

Here’s to many more fabulous years ahead! 🥂🌟
