Working as a Sole Practitioner in Tokyo - Panel discussion hosted by Women in Law Japan (WILJ)

On May 30, Catherine O'Connell participated in a panel discussion on "Working as a Sole Practioner in Tokyo"  hosted by Women in Law Japan at the beautiful headquarters of Amazon Japan. The event was moderated by Angela Krantz, the Legal Director and Associate General Counsel of Amazon Japan. We discussed our various career paths, what the average day of a sole practioner looks like, how working in a solo or small law firm differs from working in a law firm or in-house, and many other interesting topics. It was such a pleasure to speak afterwards 1:1 with the summer interns from law firms in Tokyo, in-house counsel, and various young and seasoned private practice and in-house lawyers who attended.
