Nomination to serve on Board of Toyota Motor Corporation
I am pleased to announce my nomination** for appointment to serve as external Auditor and Supervisory Board member of Toyota Motor Corporation.
I am excited at the prospect of forging ahead the corporate governance mandate in Japan through this role. It is truly an honor to support the Board of the biggest company and largest employer in Japan, and the leader in car manufacturing, moving to its next phase as a mobility company.
** The nomination is subject to approval at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting scheduled for June 2023.
