Do you choose a word of the year? Last year my word was “AUDACIOUS”. I had many opportunities to exercise that word during 2019 - for example during Rugby World Cup 2019. I met the New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern (see my “In The News” section on this website) and I was interviewed by three publications about my law practice and pioneering legal services provider in Japan, as well as featuring on Radio New Zealand’s “Calling Home” programme.

This year is my third year of business running my flex law practice in Tokyo. I’m taking myself and my business to greater heights with a mindful approach of how I spend my time and energy, focusing on activities that are good for me, for my clients and the legal community. So I have chosen NEXT LEVEL to be my guiding compass and words to live by.
