What a super ride it has been in the last 5️⃣ years running my consulting business and launching my boutique #newlawfirm in Tokyo, pioneering as the #firstforeignfemale to do so.

Many a #naysayer said to me in 2017: "why would you leave a comfortable high-paid corporate role and risk launching a business all on your own?"

Why not?

After a while it became clear to me that these comments were from people reflecting their OWN risk level back in a mirror to themselves. It wasn't about me.

Of course like any ride, it has bumps and unforseen roadworks. But with #tenacity a #positiveoutlook and #forgingforth I have made it through the first 5-year milestone.
